Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and prepare a baking sheet with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Beat on medium speed for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. While cooling, whisk the pudding mix and cold milk until smooth. Add orange food coloring if desired and refrigerate.
  5. Once cooled, cut circles out of the cake using a cookie cutter.
  6. Layer the trifle starting with cake, followed by pudding, then Cool Whip, and repeat.
  7. Decorate with sprinkles, chocolate balls, and gummy body parts before serving.
