  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
For the Drizzle
  • ½ cup salted caramel sauce the star of this recipe!

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Gently add the all-purpose flour to the mixture and stir until just combined.
  4. Press about two-thirds of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
  5. Toss the sliced apples with cinnamon and nutmeg, then spread evenly over the crust.
  6. Drizzle salted caramel sauce over the apple layer.
  7. Crumble the remaining mixture evenly over the caramel-apple layer.
  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
