Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 6-cavity donut pan by greasing it.
- Mash the ripe bananas until smooth and creamy in a large mixing bowl.
- Mix the wet ingredients: pumpkin puree, brown sugar, maple syrup, egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter with the mashed bananas until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and spices. Gently fold into the wet ingredients.
- Transfer the batter into a piping bag and fill each cavity of the donut pan about ¾ full.
- Bake the donuts for 14-16 minutes until they spring back when pressed and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the donuts cool for 5 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to create a glaze.
- Once cooled, dunk the tops of the donuts in the glaze or drizzle it over them before serving.

Notes
Use overripe bananas for optimal sweetness. Check doneness with a toothpick, and allow donuts to cool completely before glazing.
