  • 8 oz Cream cheese softened for easy mixing
  • ½ cup Melted butter can add extra peanut butter for flavor
  • 4 cups Powdered sugar sift to avoid lumps
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract substitute with almond extract if desired
For the Topping
  • 1 cup Chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups chop just before adding

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, 1 cup of water, ½ cup of vegetable oil, and 3 eggs. Mix until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together 1 cup of peanut butter, 8 oz of cream cheese, ½ cup of melted butter, 4 cups of powdered sugar, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until creamy.
  5. Dollop the peanut butter mixture over the chocolate batter and swirl gently with a butter knife.
  6. Sprinkle chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups over the top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes. Check doneness with a toothpick.
