- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray or butter.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the apple pie filling, ground cinnamon, and optional nutmeg. Spread this mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- Cut each refrigerated cinnamon roll into quarters and scatter the pieces evenly over the apple layer.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the cinnamon roll pieces, adding chopped pecans if desired.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until the rolls are golden brown and the edges are bubbly.
- Remove from oven and let cool for about 10 minutes. Drizzle with icing from the cinnamon rolls and additional caramel sauce.
