Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163ºC). Prepare a 9x13-inch baking dish by spraying it with baking spray and lining with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together cake flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a stand mixer, cream together unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, followed by vanilla extract and sour cream.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients, alternating with whole milk, until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
