  • 1 package Strawberry jello for fruity flavor
  • 1 cup Boiling water to dissolve jello
  • 1 cup Cold water to cool jello mixture
Fruit and Topping Ingredients
  • 2 cups Fresh strawberries sliced for topping
  • 1 cup Whipped cream for topping

Method
 

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, eggs, and water until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased 9x13 inch pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  4. Let the cake cool for about 10 minutes.
  5. Poke holes in the cake with the handle of a wooden spoon, about 20-25 holes.
  6. Dissolve the strawberry jello in 1 cup of boiling water, then add 1 cup of cold water.
  7. Pour the jello mixture over the poked cake.
  8. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  9. Before serving, top with sliced strawberries and whipped cream.
