- In a large bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and ½ teaspoon of salt until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, beat together 2 large eggs, then add 1 ½ cups of milk and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, whisking continuously until a smooth batter forms.
- In a deep skillet or pot, heat 2–3 inches of vegetable oil over medium heat until it reaches around 350°F (175°C).
- Pour the batter into a squeeze bottle or piping bag fitted with a large round tip.
- Pipe the batter into the hot oil in a circular, swirling motion to form donut shapes. Fry for about 1–2 minutes on one side until golden brown.
- Once golden brown, remove the donuts from the oil using a slotted spoon and let drain on paper towels.
- Generously dust your warm Funnel Cake Donuts with powdered sugar before serving.
