Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Melt the butter or ghee in a medium saucepan over low heat, stirring gently for about 2 minutes.
  2. Add the desiccated coconut to the melted butter, stirring for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Mix in the sweetened condensed milk for about 30 seconds until the mixture is sticky.
  4. Sprinkle in the ground cardamom and pour in the milk, stirring well until fully incorporated.
  5. Divide the mixture into separate bowls and add food coloring as desired.
  6. Lightly grease your palms and roll the mixture into 1-inch balls.
  7. Arrange garnishes on a plate and roll each truffle in the toppings.
  8. Refrigerate the truffles in an airtight container for about 1 hour to firm up.
