- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- On a lightly floured surface, unroll the puff pastry and cut it into 8 equal strips.
- Loop each strip into a ring shape and pinch the ends together.
- Spoon a small dollop of blueberry preserves into the center of each pastry ring.
- Brush the exposed edges with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes until golden brown.
- Transfer the rings to a wire rack to cool for about 10 minutes.
- Prepare the vanilla cream mixture by combining cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk.
- Add the chilled vanilla cream over or inside each of the cooled pastry rings.
- Top each pastry ring with fresh blueberries and sprinkle powdered sugar.

Perfect puff pastry requires it to be cold. Avoid overfilling. Allow cooling before adding cream.
